Gold Cigar

Carnival and Royal Caribbean are two popular cruise lines that are strong supporters. Some cruise aficionados refuse to sail in one or the other. Are there significant differences between them? Explore cruise may fit your needs the best. For our comparison we embarked on two similar ships – Carnival Liberty and the Royal Caribbean Mariner of the Seas.
- Both ships will route the Caribbean islands like Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, St. Thomas, the Bahamas and St. Martin / St. Maarten. The Liberty also visited the private island Half Moon Cay, Puerto Rico and Grand Turk. The Mariner of the Seas went to his private island of Coco Cay and Labadee (coast north of Haiti). We loved most of the places we visited two of the vessels and do not think this should be a distinguishing factor in deciding between the lines cruises.
- Shows every night with a great variety of shows. Usually you have the main program and some entertainment before and perhaps afterward. We believe that the main sample in the Mariner of the Seas were better. On Liberty that we liked the comedian and juggling. If you like to watch the show, Royal Caribbean was better for the main shows and carnival was slightly better for the players.
- We have enjoyed dining atmosphere of the two canteens of Liberty and Mariner of the Seas. We thought the menu had a little more variety in the Mariner of the Seas.
- The kindness of Personal Freedom and Mariner of the Seas both getting good grades. We had a waiter who some have complained in one of our excursions on the Mariner. We had an experience slightly better in Liberty, but I feel that both crews did an excellent job and that this should not be a differentiating factor in choosing a cruise.
- Pools The Mariner of the Seas and Liberty both had pools of salt water – that most cruise ships have. Both have swimming pools for children and adults. We liked pools of Liberty is better, because you had a slide. If you have children, this would be something I definitely enjoy.
- We tested the thermal spa and loved freedom. We did not try the spa at the Mariner of the Seas. Usually can not go wrong when getting a spa treatment.
- We have enjoyed our excursions excursions in both vessels. We're not sure why hiking, but there are very few in Puerto Rico. Both seemed to use customers ran excursions with professional, friendly attitudes. I really have not come across any travel guide with bad attitudes. Both cruise lines receive a high marks.
- We met children's programs at the Carnival passengers absolutely not sail on the Royal Caribbean because the programs children. We do not feel the same way at all. In fact, we think that Carnival and Royal Caribbean did a great job with their programs for children. There were many children in both cruises.
- Age of clientele There was a wide age range cruise both Carnival and Royal Caribbean. Age appears to be more youth in our Carnival cruise. Often Caribbean destinations during the summer has a lot of children so that the age of the clientele is younger. Traveling during the school year, the average age is higher with far fewer children. In general, especially during the school year, the Carnival has a younger audience. This can help you plan if you prefer a younger or a little more.
- Both games room Mariner of the Seas and Liberty had a size similar games room. We do not believe that this was a distinguishing factor, although it may be an important part of the journey of the children!
- We Cafeteria the food was more varied on the Mariner of the Seas. The quality was generally good to very good on both ships.
- Odds and ends that he liked outdoor cinema that freedom had every night. We think the putt putt golf course was a little better on the Mariner of the Seas. We prefer not to access the Internet layer Liberty. You had to walk through a room with cigarette smoke for access. We also talked to the Royal Caribbean cruise was not due to sail Carnival more smokers. It was found that this is the case in our travels, and thought that there was little difference in the number of people who smoke.
The total baseline for our needs we liked the Mariner of the Seas a little better. We do not hesitate to book any new boat, as think both trips were very enjoyable.
